How to Make A Great Cup of Coffee
Is it the filter? Is it the water? Is it the bean? Yes!
- Use cold filtered water. Filtered water ensures there are no impurities like chlorine or minerals to alter the real taste. We use the filtered water from the refrigerator most of the time but we have a nice filter coming in to the system.
- Go to your local coffee house and buy only enough coffee beans to last you a week. If you have to go to the local market, make sure to buy Arabica beans. You want fresh. When you buy beans make sure the beans are all relatively the same size and same color for even grinding and flavor.
- The grind. Only grind as much coffee as you are going to need for that moment. The finer you grind, the more flavor.
- For the best tasting coffee brew at 95 to 98 degrees Celsius. This temperature is the optimal temperature to get the best flavor out of the bean.
